Radiologist - Immigration Chest X-rays
Nicola hails from Malta in the Mediterranean where she graduated from the University of Malta, Medical School in 2001. She obtained her radiology specialist training in the UK and worked as an NHS Consultant Radiologist prior to emigrating to Australia in 2017 where she now offers a clinical teleradiology service to several UK NHS hospitals. She is also registered in New Zealand where she works as a fractional contracted radiologist in Southland Hospital, Invercargill.
Nicola has a subspecialist interest in thoracic imaging with interstitial lung disease as her niche specialist field. As an academic senior lecturer at the Australian National University, School of Medicine and Psychology, Nicola enjoys sharing her knowledge with medical students, though also extends it internationally to qualified radiologists, radiology registrars, other medical students and allied health professionals.
It is never a dull moment for Nicola talking shop with her respiratory physician husband. She is mum to a delightful 16-year-old daughter and akin to her Mediterranean heritage, you will find Nicola having her moment of peace on the coast or enjoying the outdoors in the warm sunshine.
